Three million Massachusetts residents will soon receive tax refunds totaling 14% of the state income taxes they paid.
According to WBUR, the majority of taxpayers got their money in November, but some people are still waiting.
According to GBH News, the state revenue service stated that those who are qualified but have not yet received their rebate should do so by December 15.
Direct deposit will be used to transfer the rebates to taxpayers' bank accounts.
According to WBUR, someone earning $35,000 would receive $200 and someone earning $1 million would receive $7,000.
Since the application deadline for this rebate has been extended through September 15 of next year, there is still plenty of time for people to file a 2021 tax return.
